Zunal is a very interesting web site with two remarkable tools.

1. WebQuest. A WebQuest is a lesson that students complete using Web resources. Instructors create the lesson so that it includes an introduction, the task to be completed, the process to be used, an evaluation, a conclusion, and a teacher's help page. Zunal includes a very nice wizard to help teachers create each of these components. In the end, teachers create a unit that is interesting and uses Web-based resources.

2. Portfolio. Zunal has a free portfolio tool to let teachers create an online portfolio. Like their WebQuest product, the portfolio is very easy to use with various wizards to help you create the modules you want to include in your portfolio. This is the online online porfolio I've ever found that is focused on education and the needs of teachers and students.
